Shelly is a native Idahoan and experienced educator with more than three decades of service in public education. Her career spans classroom teaching, district leadership, and school administration. She previously led Compass Academy as Director, supporting innovative pathways for students. Shelly holds a master’s degree in educational administration and a bachelor’s degree in secondary education. She is known for her creative, student-centered approach, her commitment to continuous growth, and her ability to bridge instruction, leadership, and community engagement. She is now happily retired and enjoys time with her husband, grown children, pets, and grandson.
