Anna Kinney

Vice President

As a mother of three children attending a fantastic public school district in rural Idaho, Anna has developed a passion for supporting the schools of Idaho and all of the communities, families, and students they serve. Born and raised in Boise, she herself is the product of an Idaho public education and the many talented teachers and administrators dedicated to her growth, success, and dreams. Anna attended the College of Idaho where her love of children and education and wonder of the natural world led to a degree in Biology with minors in Educational Studies and Music. After earning a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies, she worked in Family Medicine in Boise and Seattle before moving to rural Idaho in 2014 and growing deep roots in a beautiful mountain community. Anna maintains her PA license with occasional clinical work but primarily focuses her efforts on supporting her young family and community. Her newest role is as a District Nurse serving five schools. She loves volunteering as a parent and is deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue the role of PTA president at her family’s elementary school while enthusiastically joining the Idaho PTA board as vice president. During quiet moments, Anna enjoys reading and long walks (just not on the beach).
