• Tami Pyfer

    Tami Pyfer is the Chief External Affairs Officer for UNITE and co-creator of the Dignity Index. Before joining UNITE Tami served as Education Policy Advisor to former Utah Governor Gary Herbert, where she was involved in state level policy development, coalition building, and stakeholder engagement. She held local and state elected offices for 12 years including 4 years on the Utah State Board of Education. Tami’s professional training is in Special Education and before her appointment to serve on the Governor's executive team she taught at Utah State University in the Special Education teacher preparation program. Tami and her husband Aaron are the parents of 5 children, grandparents of 16. They live in Salt Lake City. 

  • Tim Sperber

    Tim Sperber brings over three decades of educational experience as an educator and administrator. With a career that spans teaching in Idaho and Washington, serving as principal at Tammany Alternative High School, and leadership roles at Lewiston High School, Whitman Elementary, and Sacajawea Middle School, Tim is known for his dedication to creating a positive school culture. He will begin his new role as Superintendent of the Lewiston School District in July.   A former volunteer firefighter/EMT for 27 years, he credits that service with shaping his leadership style. Tim’s mission is to make students feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. He and his wife, Michelle, a retired math teacher, have two children and recently became proud grandparents.

  • Megan Smith

    Dr. Megan Smith is the Executive Director of Communities for Youth and an Associate Professor for the School of Public & Population Health at BSU. Megan spent 6 years as a K-12 classroom teacher before pursuing her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies. Dr. Smith’s work builds across education, human development, and public health to promote positive health outcomes for youth. As founding director of Communities for Youth, Dr. Smith focuses on upstream prevention through community engaged efforts to promote youth and community health.

  • Quinn Perry

    Quinn Perry is the Deputy Director for the Idaho School Boards Association (ISBA) where she has worked for over seven years, mainly as the Association’s legislative advisor and political strategist. She also authors model school policies for school boards and works with her team to develop board members into strategic and effective leaders that benefit students. Prior to that, she served as the Director of Communication and legislative advisor for the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association. She was born and raised in Wyoming and is the daughter of retired public servants in both public education and journalism. She received a BA from Boise State University in Communication & Public Relations. She and her husband, Luke, live in Boise and enjoy cross country skiing, hiking, backpacking, flyfishing, and gardening.
