My Idaho PTA
The PTA Organizational Structure
The Idaho PTA Organizational Structure connects voices at every level—from individual parents, teachers, students, and community members, to local school-based PTAs, the Idaho State PTA, and the National PTA. Each level plays a vital role in advocacy, education, and support. Whether you join a local unit or as a state-wide member, your voice strengthens the mission to serve every child with one united voice. Together, we make a difference.

Announcing 2025 Local PTA Area Regions
🗺️ Introducing Idaho PTA’s Four New Geographical Area Regions
We’re thrilled to announce a bold new chapter for Idaho PTA: beginning in 2025, we’re transitioning from numbered regions to four vibrant geographic Areas—North, Central, West, and East Idaho. Each Area is designed to foster stronger relationships, more responsive support, and deeper local leadership.
🌟 Why We’re Making This Change
As Idaho PTA grows in membership and impact, we want to ensure every community has direct access to Board Members and resources. This change aligns with our leadership values—strengths-based partnership, relational support, and opportunities for every leader to thrive.

💡 Introducing Our New Tiered Membership Model – Launching 2025
We’re excited to introduce a new way to support and simplify leadership for local units across the state: the Idaho PTA Tiered Membership Model. Starting this year, local units will select a tier that aligns with their school size and needs. This new model is simple, supportive, and designed for sustainability.
Here’s what’s new:
🧭 Simplified structure = less burnout. Fewer committees, clearer expectations, and easier documentation make leadership more manageable for every volunteer.
💬 Increased support = more confidence. State Board reps will offer tailored check-ins, resources, and training based on your tier level—because local leaders deserve direct, meaningful support.
🛠️ Consistent tools = more autonomy. From checklists to bylaws, you’ll have what you need to stay compliant and flexible enough to lead in your own style.
