Idaho PTA
Elected Officers for the State
Elected Officers serve as the primary leadership team of Idaho PTA and are entrusted with guiding the organization’s mission, strategy, and day-to-day governance on behalf of its members across the state. These positions are filled through a democratic election process at the annual State Convention and are accountable to the voting delegates and the Board of Directors.
Officers work collaboratively to ensure financial stewardship, transparent communication, effective advocacy, and strong operational continuity. Each role carries defined duties outlined in the bylaws and supporting Standing Rules, providing clarity of responsibility while allowing flexibility to respond to the evolving needs of families, educators, and communities.
Terms of service, eligibility requirements, vacancy procedures, and term limits are established in the bylaws to promote both continuity of leadership and healthy rotation of service. This structure helps preserve institutional knowledge while inviting new voices and perspectives into statewide leadership.
Together, the Elected Officers uphold the values of inclusiveness, accountability, and service that form the foundation of Idaho PTA’s work for children and youth.
